First things first, I was having a really good hair day! :P This outfit is absolutely perfect if you are trying to go for a casual look. Whether you are strolling in the park, out for brunch, or on a summer vacation go for this comfy and cool summer outfit.
To recreate the look, try a very light button up shirt or blouse (Ruffle Neck Shirt), a straw hat -- here is a better version of mine also from H&M (Straw Hat), a light-wash short, some sunnies, and a pink lip. To compliment my look, I wore black espadrilles (I have linked a few pairs below).
I got this whole outfit for under $100 and since these are all simple transitional pieces, I can pair the shirt with either jeans, leggings, or a skirt and the shorts with an off-the-shoulder top and put together a few other outfit options.
I love how these shorts feel and look. They are the right length and are stretchy enough to contour to your body, giving it a nice look in all the right places :) Shorts are from AEO (Denim Midi Short) and the shades are very inexpensive from Forever 21 (Oversized Round Sunglasses)

My across the street neighbor in Peru, manufactured espadrilles. Their daughter was one of my best friends so you can imagine I lived in espadrilles. I've been wearing espadrilles since before they were a thing. There is this pair I absolutely love that my friend gifted me when I visited her last year, I will show them off on another post :)
