Bright and Fall-Ready Sweater

It's a brand new week, getting back to my normal routine after all the hurricane craziness. Some traffic lights are still not working, which means more traffic, but we're slowly making everything normal again. I'm just thankful that all my family and friends are ok.

This weekend I shot a few new outfits that I can't wait to share with you, my loves. This sweater in particular is my favorite! I'm totally obsessing over the tie-up sleeves and the split back, not to mention it's deliciously soft and light. If there's only one piece you will be spending your $$ on, then this has to be the one!

I styled it with my favorite shorts that I've had for some time now (also from Express) and this cute little bangle cross body, which I luckily found at Marshalls this weekend for only $17! It definitely beats paying $1,000+ for a Chloè 😉

The shoes are Steve Madden which I found at TJ Maxx for $35 and were also on sale at Hautelook a few weeks ago. They unfortunately almost sold out. I found some on eBay but only in size 7 and 8 (you better hurry!).

What I love the most about this sweater is that it can be styled in so many different ways and be worn with either shorts, skirts, or jeans. My personal favorite is the off-the-shoulder look, giving it a little touch of sexiness.

The earrings are also from Express and since they are just oh too cute, they flew off the shelves! I am linking a similar pair and if you also want to see how I styled them on a previous post, here is the link.

As far as makeup goes, I chose a dark matte lip from Colourpop, they are very inexpensive and have the best shades. I typically wear a bright pink but since we are transitioning to Fall, darker colors are a better choice.

If you follow me on Instagram, I posted how I did my hair on my story. It was so easy and simple, and the results were great. All I did was to tie up my damp hair in several buns and used the blow dryer directly on them so they maintained the curl. I waited 30 minutes, undid the buns, and voila! It's so much easier than using a curling iron and I personally liked the results much more. Use a little hairspray if your hair is like mine, which doesn't hold at all.

I urge you to sign up for emails from Express, they always have great deals (which I always take advantage of) like in this case I only paid $30 for the sweater and I could not be any happier!

Now for the best part, here are the links to the items I wore:
